I have three version Final Fantasy IV but I don't know which one to start with. Should I play the original version on my Wii VC to get an idea of what the game is about or should I start with PSP and DS version?
^ What they are going to revive Sin? What an awesome way to ruin the point of the first game. [/sarcasm] Seriously, one of the main themes of the first game is religion can be used as a tool to gain power and how the the church uses the fear of sin to maintain this power. It also deconstructs...
An M Rated Final Fantasy would not only have to mature in content but in plot as well. The previous games dealt with some really heavy themes such as identity, racism and power. I would like an M rated but only if its something heavy and philsopical.
To be honest with you, I didn't even know that we were getting an X-3. FFX is a very well done game even though it was linear, FFX-2 was a good game but it was mostly fanservice and it derailed Yuna's and Rikku's character respectively and now FFX-3 wants to revive Sin? What in the world is...
I don't know if there really is a 'true' Final Fantasy game but I would like to see if they could write a good story or handle the drama better. FFXIII was far to melodramatic for my tastes and the character just feel kind of boring to me.
To be fair the Final Fantasy series do have their dark sides. FFVII alone featured genocide, prostitution, anarchy, manipulation on a large scale, terrorism and unethical experiments. FFVI had similar themes in addition to having one character attempting suicide and the main villain's nihilism...
I should use that pic for a signature but it will probably be days before someone could do it for me. I know they have lives outside the internet but I would really like to see this get turned into a sig,
I kind of see Yunalesca as being somewhat misguided or at least corrupted. It may be an anime cliche but Yunalesca probably thoguht what she was doing was right, she only wanted to help Spira and the road to hell is paved with good intentions. She is basically the Anti-Yuna whereas Yuna learned...
this may had been touched before but Yunalesca truly evil? In FFX, she was basically preforming a duty to her father and Spira but in the sequel she seemed somewhat remorseful. Do you guys consider Yunalesca evil?
You know there has been so mnay rant threads on how X game is ruining the sries but my question to the fandom is this, when Final Fantasy stop being 'Final Fantasy'? When did things go downhill for the series? At first I thought it was the time Square Enix made the movie the Spirits Within, itw...
I am going to try all the sidequests to see if I can power myself up to beat Sin, I am trying to break the damage so that I can beat Sin easier. It is going to take me hours and hours but I am going to try and see if I can find a way to beat Sin. Even my younger cousin has yet to beat the game...
For every hero, princess, freind and ally, there is always a badass who is just brings in an aura of coolness to the game. Almost every final fantasy has that sort of badass usually an cool guy like Auron and Steiner or a mysterious character such as Vincent, final fantasy always had their share...
^ Maybe not but they nevertheless do share similar themes, even if these games were on a timeline it wouldn't make that much sense as there would be many inconsistencies.
Part of the reason why series lasted this long is because it never had a true sequel (until X-2 but that is another story). Final Fantasy had always been about exploring new ideas with each game starting over from scratch and creating new stories. Despite this however there are some who feel...
