As some SB frequenters will have noticed, I'm currently playing through the original North American version of Final Fantasy I for the NES. It is a fucking nightmare of a game but I intend to finally see it through to the end. The PS, GBA, PSP and any other versions do not come anywhere near the...
Don't be so much of a power gamer then in that case. Mastering all the jobs early would surely take the enjoyment out of the game somewhat as you are supposed to master them accordingly as you go along. If you spend so much time levelling up and mastering early then the challenge of the game...
Again, no. She is like an interesting add-on to Shadows story if anything. I've never really used Sketch after that Ultros fight.
To be honest most of VI's characters aren't all too great. Terra, Sabin, Edgar, Shadow and Gau (if you take the time to build his Rage abilities) are the power...
Strago has some great Lore magics but considering how powerful the other characters can be and the magic available to all of them he is hardly essential. I build him up for completion sake but you can easily finish the game without having any need of using Lore at all.
Glad you are enjoying the game now. A lot of people felt the same before (some still do) and just like you went back years later and discovered it's greatness. Easily done I suppose if the pre-PS games hadn't been played beforehand. I was the same and put it down to that. After a few years of...
Fuckin'ell :gasp: Yesterday I read upto when Bran and his posse have just took shelter in a cave and have met the Greenseer. A Tyrion chapter is next. I seem to be going slower than I thought but I'll put in a few hours tomorrow and later... when i'm over this bloody hangover :wacky:
Definitely further than me now then :gasp:
There is supposed to be two more books after Dance. Not written yet though haha. Always got the TV show to watch afterwards :wacky:
:gasp: :gasp: :gasp: :gasp:!!!!
3 days!? It took me about 6 months to get through Feast :wacky: and I've only just read through the second or third Daenerys chapter in Dance. You're probably ahead of me now. You bloody GoT crack-whore :mokken:
Its the same if not worse with alternative gaming sources. Its not a case of it being dull, its a case of being too damn bright. Its like playing it after snorting a line of Coke or something and everything goes buuuuzzzzyyyy. The darkness of the SNES and PS versions suit the game just fine in...
The colouring is also way off, making it look horrible. I haven't played the iOS version as of yet but if portable is the way to go I think iOS might be the superior move.
Based on what you've said, if you enjoyed IV and want to find out what happens next in The After Years then thats the one I'd suggest. V and VI are also both great. Personally I'd go for the PSX versions as I find playing those on the iPhone quite annoying (and the difficulty has been somewhat...
Welcome. Have fun n'stuff.
Yes. Especially I, II and III. Original NES versions on an emulator. Don't pussy out with those watered down modern versions! :wacky:
Triptykon - Breathing
Haven't heard anything involving Tom G. Warrior since Celtic Frost. Going to check out the rest of the album and maybe the first Triptykon album too, as this sounds pretty damn good.
