Is Final Fantasy Dead?
As we now see some surfacing reports about a possible XV, which would be an Action-RPG as it's more 'mass market'. Are we seeing the downfall of Final Fantasy or even more so the downfall of RPG's as a whole.
We haven't seen an RPG like the Final Fantasy's of old since...
I don't know about everyone else but I also prefer the American front covers to that of PAL. Although ours just have logo for that game which is equally as good.
I was thinkng about this last night and I narrowed it down to 2 final fantasy games being 7 and 9. This is because in 8 the task of getting Ifrit at the start was tedious and the fact they asked you how much time you wanted was bit strange to me. In X I felt that that maybe you were being thrown...
I love the joke. 'An eye for destruction', the summon was called Anima and to get it you had to get all the tresures in all the cloister of trails along the way to unlock the door to the Fayth in the bajj temple.
Which Was Your Favourite Summon?
For you out of any FF game, which summon did you think to be the best or did you like the most? please give a reason why and if you chose 'Other' on the poll please say which one you picked, thanks.
I would pick Odin he was so cool, had a six legged horse...
The starting point of the greatest gameing sieres ever, got to be a love for just that reason alone. Basic Rpg with a good story, Shame no summons though. But inspite of that I'd rather play I than XII or XIII any day of the week.
I love the FF seires and I haven't got a problem with them making am online version (maybe it should be aside from the numbered installments)
but I bought the game 4 days ago tryed it on the second day and haven't played it since.
If your also refering to gamespot it's true nearly all there...
You'll probably find most people will see it as a 'girly' game and mainly just a spin off to make money. Which I agree with. Still the perfect ending made everything for me alright in the end. FFX was so sad at the end it juct couldn't end like that.
I do agree with you on that, but in 8 I enjoyed running round the open area of the garden and exploring all the differant areas in it, 7 was just a relaxed opening movie than, bang, straight head first into a mission. Two differant styles but loved both of them. Currently though I can't decide...
I've played 1,2,5,7,8,9,10,10-2,12,13 (Probably only class 1,2,5,7,8 and 9 as old though)
I think that it has gone hill in the recent instalments. and one of those main things being the opening scenes where you get sucked in the last two (12 and 13) seamed to lack that for me.
But what I...
I was thinking back on the many FF games I've played in the past and I noticed that they all started with a great opening 20 or so minutes that just seamed to get you sucked in and engrossed in the story line. I can't however, decide which one is the best so let me know what you think and what...
Gamespot couldn't review Tetris let alone FF. But in this case they aren't too far off I've played it there is a total lack of direction, it seams to make next to no sense, the graphic arent even that good, the battle animation are average at best. In my opinion, but in these cases as its only...
For me it was very close between 12 and 13 but seeing as I thought the terrible battle system of 12 would be irradicated in 13. But it didn't it got worse even the story got worse (not even I could have done that)
The first mission pretty much sums up the awesomeness of the whole game. I mean just seeing the 2 basic magic spells at the begging still looks cool. It also has sence of atmosphere about it the whole feel of getting you pumped to go and blow up a reactor with a cold hearted mercanary... cool...
I bought a PS2 for going to Uni leaving my PS3 behind and Also brought FF10 and 12 to play on, I'm currently just about to recieve the Magus Sisters. It's prob my faviourate FF so I thought I'd go throught it again while starting Univeristy. Love it just as much as the first time :).
As far as I'm conserned he go and well... leave FF7 well alone. I'd hate to see 7 become the new 13 or 12. It could very well kill the sieres for me and anyone who is a lover of the old ways of FF. Which needs to be returned btw.
Well Lindblum has the airship dock and the huge industrial, art and market districts, It's also huge and on the whole a more friendly atmosphere. Who could forget the festival of the hunt?
However I'll have to go with Alexandria, the magic and the beauty it has from the start. Also being...
Well for me basically I'd easily settle for FF10 graphics and have an amazing story line and battle system. Yes graphics are cool but when you feel alienated from the story and the characters... It just dosen't seam worth it.
