It is like a very 70s soap opera opening, which is weird. Looking back it kind of makes sense because the idea is that TP is this idyllic village (but really it is not!) so the saccharine sweet opening conveys that idea. Then again David Lynch is definitely insane, not jokingly insane. Insanity has hollowed out his skull and taken up permanent residence there. The show seems a bit weird and surreal, but not too surreal...then the dancing revesre talking midget appears

You will enjoy twin peaks I hope, I was really not looking forward to it when a pal lent it to me. Then the shit opening credits were off putting. Then once it got going it was actually incredible

Ok so they moved out and I was pretty depressed (concentration camp orphan with a dying pet dog depressed) because they seemed to be drifting apart. Then they are doing their introduction thing at the end of episode 2 and Chuck says "I'm chuck, single...." so by this stage I was already tying my noose

Then they meet outside the door and play that game where they pretend to be meeting each other for the first time and I was all like
