I was going to say that you don't have a good enough education to understand the point I was making. Although you seem to think that your question could be answered in a couple of lines. There have been whole books on the subject.
Before the 1650s and more importantly the 1700s people didn't think the same way that people do now. The Scientific Revolution led to a new way of thinking about the world and life etc.
Modernish History, Ancient Egypt would be part of an Ancient History course. I studied the French Revolution, European Witch-Hunting, Germany from 1870-2000 and China from 1911-1976 this year.
I do not study ancient Egypt. But I can tell you that Ancient Egypt is divided into different time periods. Such as Old Kingdom and New Kingdom, the style of art can vary considerablt betweeb different periods.
For a lot of the time Egypt was not a unified state, there was an Upper Egypt and a Lower Egypt that had two different rulers.
