Aye our history paper was much the same, three three pagers and two document questions with short and essay questions. Though we did two a year

I never liked the material we were given, it was always very archaic and we only did it cos the teachers loved it and it was what they always did.

That is so different to how we do it, jeez Louise

You start with 11 or 12 subjects, and there is honours level and ordinary level

SO I started with

English, Irish, History, Geography, Maths, Science, German, Religious Educations, C.S.P.E., Business Studies, and Technical Drawing

Then you drop four subjects(after three years), but some of the stuff splits up so Science becomes Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Then you can take on Applied maths as an extra, Business becomes economics, accounting, or advanced business

Then you have a two and a half/three hour exam in each at the end of school, though English Irish and maths have two papers each. As well as oral and aural exams for the languages, a project in history and biology
