  • If it's less than 15 minutes, there's really no point to mention it, IMO. My problem is that I'm consistently a bit late, but not enough to call and mention it *sighs*
    Hehe, true. I always feel bad getting to my class late, or even the soccer practices I had over 10 years ago >.<
    Are the practices really in the morning? Maybe now that school is out for most students, they don't wanna deal with the early times again?
    lol, mother's are double edged swords. They'll give you anything, but they always remember X_x
    Again, I only have work to compare experiences from, but there are a lot of slackers. A lot of new people come on expecting an easy job, or got hired through a friend, so dealing with their lack of...anything is annoying >_>
    I can understand that annoyance. A few times, I get a ride to work from or near my place by a manager, but I need to be dressed and ready a while before I usually do, even though my schedule time is a while after we get to the actual destination (but my time starts when I get picked up, so it's not too bad getting paid to ride a car, lol)
    Actually, it's one of the very rare times where I'm going to a location that's rather close to my home. By bus, it's about 10 minutes, and then just another 10-15 minutes of walking. Usually I spend over an hour in transit, excluding time on foot to go to the actual sign in.
    lol, oh no xD

    Actually, I live in a condo, and they have tightened the rules about halloween the last couple of years. We used to be able to go door-to-door, but now we can only go the lobby downstairs, that's it. you'd have to leave the building for more candy >_<

    (or be like me and buy them when they go on sale the next day :monster: )
    Eh, the snow wasn't terrible or anything. It was just unexpected, it was a light layer in the morning, that's it. Plus this was, jeez, almost 18-19 years ago (oh ghods, I'm so old :ness: )
    ...Okay, you win this round :ahmed:

    (though I did play a few soccer games in the heat back when I was young and in better shape; those leg pads didn't help with the sweat :jtc: )

    Let's see...Ever had snow on Halloween?
    Argh, I'm having a flashback of gym class and running around the track on the hot days ;A;
    Hrrmm, I'm not sure what the conversion rate is between Celsius and Fahrenheit (like the freezing rate in Celsius is 0, and it's like -30 in Fahrenheit, right?). 100 seems like a lot though :lew:
    It hasn't gotten to the sweltering heat yet on my side, but it's a matter of time. I mean I like the sunshine, but I still like the cool air more. Ever have those winter days where it's not windy and it's sunny? LOVE those days :3
    Early start, but then everyone is late. Not to mention the higher ups usually walts in late too :jtc:

    It's why I prefer the afternoon shifts starts. It's late night, yeah, but at least I can get home fast :lew:

    Rained a bit today. How's it on your end?
