I've quite a few problems with the ending - and, strangely, your issue isn't one of them.
However, the things that did bother me are:
i'd hoped that the paradox endings would clear those up a bit, but they didn't. :/
Restarted FFXIII because I've nothing new to play atm and nine days to kill. :/
I did give FFVII a try but unfortunately, like many other PS1 games, it just made me feel nauseous within 15 mins of playing. :(
FFX. I love the story, the world, the characters - everything. It's one of the few games I've played that absorbs me right from the intro sequence and keeps me hooked all the way through. I'm not a fan of Kimahri but the rest of the main party all rank among my favourite game characters ever...
XIII and XIII-2 are the only ones I have now.
Between my father and I we used to have FFIV-FFXI of the main line plus X-2. But we don't have the consoles to play them on anymore. :/
This!
+ Give some official word about FF Type-0.
I'm mostly happy with what they're doing - I just want them to keep the fans in the loop a little more. I'm probably just too used to being babied by more needy/pushy companies like EA though. ^^;
X-2 is actually the game that made me actually want to play the FF games rather than just watching my Dad playing them (as I had done for 8+ years before that). It's only on here that I've heard people say they dislike it, actually! From people I've spoken to offline, I've noticed a trend in...
Kingdom Hearts II: I've played through it countless times - it's just one of those games I can't get bored of. Unfortunately, I cannot play it anymore because my PS2 died. I think it was just sick of me losing to Demyx constantly (I would get stuck on him every single play-through). ^^; The...
Spent the last couple of days in an attempt to finish off the missions in XIII. I've only a couple left to go but I just don't have the motivation to get strong enough to finish them off.
Planning to re-start XIII-2 tomorrow. I think I got around four chapters into it before losing interest...
Started playing XIII-2 a few days ago. On episode four and thinking that the plot would have been better suited to a stand alone game than a sequel - it doesn't feel as if it fits the already established world/characters.
Personally, XIII ties with X to be my favourite FF game - and a lot of the points argued by the OP are things I enjoyed about the game. I had no expectations for XIII at all: I went into the game not expecting it to match up to my love of X and instead I ended up adoring both the plot and the...
As long as you're not annoying others with your interests (eg: talking about it non-stop to someone who isn't interested) then you should feel free to do what you want. They probably won't even recognise something like this unless they're an FF fan themselves (like L says happens with him). :)
Tidus. He's not only my favourite in this game but my favourite of all the FF games.
I feel he's one of the best developed characters in X (in terms of story progression/back-story) and I love his simplistic battle style. :) Yuna is a close second, but there are times early on in the game...
I think including the datalog was one of their smartest moves. I would never have gotten my head around the terminology without it. :P
It sounds to me less like Square is to blame but rather their views simply differ from yours.
I had the same dilemma with Kingdom Hearts post-358/2 Days...
