I loved Valefor, he was very majestic and I kind of grew a thing for him (him being the first Aeon and all). I also like Anima a great deal as well, spooky.
FFIX. Perfect storeline, battle system, characters, etc..
Also a good relief from the "modern trend" that had been started by VII and VIII, it was nice to go back to knights and such for awhile. :)
I don't like how using your Magic results in a permanent loss of stat. I like FF7's one time penalty for using materia or better yet the FF9 Ability System. The Sphere Grid was alright, just to planned out for my tastes.
Kuja was a beautiful, tortured artist type. A great villian because depending on who's eyes you see it through, he wasn't really the villian at all. Also, the best looking FF guy in my personal opinion.
Seymour. He was very intelligent, and had a very "sunny dark" outlook on things. Such as his claims that death would bring happiness. Aside from how goofy they made him look, he was the perfect villian.
I'll take the liberty of informing you, as this is the strategy that I loan to people who ask. I am not sure why, but one steal command per Guard is sufficent. Once this is accomplished you can take them out as previously stated with one or two hits. Afterwards, you can use Yuna's dispel on...
