I only even suggested it because everyone who has seen it says that it is on par with PS2 visuals and maybe slightly better which is why gamecube/ps2 ports are already confirmed to be coming to it, so I thought why not FFX?. Some say PS3 even but I know they are mistaken, it only looks PS3...

I agree with this, the quest would not have been the same without him. He balanced out the annoying overly happy youths (Tidus/Rikku) very well.

If the movie was not the original game then why not. If they focus on a different set of characters and events e.g the machina war, Braska's journey and so on. Same characters, probably not.
