I would suggest getting this game only if you're a seasoned RPG'er or a die hard Final Fantasy fan. If you are a infrequent RPG'er I would skip it.

I'm building up to fight Omega right now. I have fought him 3 times with a different strategy each time and he still hands me my ass!!! I was hopeing that the more I played this game the more I'd like it. Sadly this isn't the case I really dislike this game.

I agree that it has been overshadowed by 6 and I won't even mention 7. I just think that the character development is really lacking. They should have made Galuf or Faris the main character. Not Bartz. He has no real back story. We know nothing about him or his reasons for fighting. He has none...

Well not to intentionally disagree with anyone, but I don't care for V all that much. I'm not even talking about the graphics since I know it's and old game. I realize that when it came out it was cutting edge and I probably would have loved it then, but to me there just aren't enough...

Yeah I agree I. Although I haven't played Chrono Cross, I've been playing Chrono Trigger for years and I think it deserves it's own category on here for sure.

Yeah thanks Aemeath. I try not to use the vanish and doom trick seeing as its kind of cheap. Don't get me wrong I'll use it if I have to, but I try to avoid it.

I chose the Esper all 3 times that I've been through it. I can't live with out Ultima. Thats the spell I use when I'm building up in the WoR on the Dinosaur Island. maybe the next time I play through it I'll choose the rock.

Thanks Doaj. Like I said I'll probably start with Dragon Warrior, then get the BOF 3 & 4. Seeing as Dragon warrior is said to be 100+ hours guaranteed.

The Vois? Where is that? I'm only on the 1st world. Im at the floaring castle/ruins. Where is a good place to build up in this world?

I'm having the same problem man. I think this is my least favorite FF yet.

I have never played X. I have some friends who are all about it. I guess I judged and never gave it a chance , it looked to girly for my taste. I should check it out.
