    Zorn and Thorn?

They just suited the theme of the game- it made a change to have enemies who, lets face it, weren't of typical human forms. Clowns are able to hide their nature via make up and tricks and I still feel that it was these two pulling the strings behind it all.

    What was it missing?

Heck, EVERY game is missing this. Also, I think it was nice how a lot of aspects that had been unexplained in the earlier games and were just convenient now became part of the story. A bit like Mako and FVII, only here it was mainly summons and such.

    Buying FFXIII For Which Console?

PS3- Silly thing is I originally got a 360 because I thought I'd never own a PS3, until certain situations changed. So now I'm definitely getting it for the sony owned console (heck, it feels right somehow.)

    What was it missing?

Funnily enough, I think this game was the most complete. It comes full circle and doesn't really leave much untied- even FVII was open enough to allow a few prequels and sequels. I can't see where any of it would fit in FFIX and it just feels like a solid and unique experience. Not to say the...

What did you think about Zidane?

Zidanes a tough one for me. I love IX, obviously, but Zidane goes through a long stage of basically being an arse. However he has to be- his womanising and selfish nature is of course what makes the 'you're not alone' moment work so well. He needs the build up. But...again, he's another lead...

    Kuja

I think the only reason they get compared is because Sephiroth is so famous in the FFverse. Personally Kefka would be my major 'candle to the other villains' choice any day.

FFIX: Love it or Hate it?

FFIX is the game that I feel wasn't afraid to have more fun, but at the same time wasn't afraid to turn the story into something totally character driven. FVIIs characters are united under a common cause- they're essentially a resistance and the character development while strong, is of course...

    I don't like you

A lot of people tell me they dont like me without even outright sating it. It amounts to the same thing- and I simply just stay consistent or adapt by saying nothing.

    Kuja

I feel Kujas effeminate appearrance is simply a means to an end. He wants to appear quiet and in the background so as not to arouse suspiscion, and he has the advantage of being quite the scholar when you compare him to most of the others. He's pretty much Zidanes evil twin, the more I think...

    A claymation movie movie

I've tested the technique a few times and it's worked reasonably well- for Zidanes green-ness I actually have the ability to have the mac simply take whatever colour there is most of in the background and adapt to it, so I can use a multitude of colours (though you may have something better, if...

    A claymation movie movie

The backgrounds, scenery and props is probably the one daunting thing I'm worried about and it's the question I've asked myself many times. I have found equipment and ways to get around it such as green screens but of course it's not going to work every time, so my main goal is create something...

What the heck is a "Mactard"?

While I'm quite pleased with myself to have a mac, I was always a windows person and I still think Mac is more fiddly in terms of usability. Sure, it's user friendly in terms of speed and accessibility but that means nothing if so many simpler abilities are sacraficed. However my main choice of...

Why is the game hated by a lot of fans?

It's a shame this debate exists, but my belief is that it's the spin offs that are hurting it. Any piece of fanservice actually goes against the image of the original game most of the time- the look and feel of Advent children isn't at all like the game. The game actually feels like more of a...

    FFIX General Discussion

I'm currently going through it a fourth time to make sure I haven't really missed anything too important dialogue wise from the script, and to see what else I could twist a bit. So far I think the structures fine, but then you have to consider the fan base... I'm also playing this in tandem...

where would you like to live in ff9

Lindblum. It's done things we haven't been able to ahchieve in our own version of its time, including flying taxis (albiet not truly by honourable means once we discover what the mist is). And the hunting season actually being a bit more for training.
