I agree with you on the negative points, but I'm not going to lie, the actual game isn't making me feel any better so far.

I was a bit bored this weekend so I almost went out of my way to buy XIII-2. But my brain kicked in for once and suggested that I try the demo first so I did and boy am I glad I did not waste my money.
It was utterly boring. I played an hour of the game and really it was almost exactly the same as XIII in every wayexcept the characters are worse this time with just serah and noel. The battle system was the same just with a few tiny additions like those live events or whatever it's called. I still found myself mashing the auto battle thing over and over, maybe changing character roles once or twice.
It was nice to see a town in the game but there weren't really many places to explore, only one shop, that stupid chocobo lady. It's like they added in NPC's and towns just to stop the whingers but didn't really give any point to them, it didn't have that charm that most FF towns in other FF games have
The worst thing about the game though that I have seen so far is that fucking moogle. I hate itwhy'd they give it a voice
why, why, why!
Anyway, not impressed and I played 1.5 hours. I shouldn't be surprised as I loathed XIII.
