Vincent Valentine

Ok i know he was a turk at one time, but what else is there? can someone tell me more about him? I find his character very interesting.

One of the most interesting aspects of him is that when you find him he is punishing himself for past sins. You don't find out in that game though that his past sins are letting Hojo keep Lucrecia, and not fighting for her or being able to save her, and letting(by not being able to stop) Hojo experiment on Lucrecia and Hojo's child who happens to be Sephiroth.

Yeah i know that part, and checked the wiki, but i also read something about his dad. I cant really recall, it may be in the wiki, but for not being a mainline character in the main game, he sure has some details floating around him.

I assume you have never played Final Fantasy VII Dirge Of Cerberus. This game shows much of his past. As it is all about him and reveals several secrets of his past. It turns out to be that he was in love with a women that gave birth to sephiroth, and she loved him as well but could only deny it. To go with that, this women worked with his father and discovered the area where Chaos and Omega would be Created. This is where Lucrecia rests. Lucrecia was also the one who made vincent into Chaos. With Vincent about to die from being nearly killed by Hojo, Lucrecia did all she could to keep him alive, and as she discovered how, his flesh began to replenish. However this was the awakening of Chaos in his body. He was then on carrying the Protomateria and completely ignorant of this fact. The reason his body was able to hold Chaos inside of it was because of the experiments that Hojo had done to him, giving him a nearly indestructable body.

Ah nice, thanks for the info, and yeah i havent play DOC, im wanting to though...mainly for the story.
