ok i say Squall and Zell, in the bigining im sure tifa would kick Zell in the nuts (cheap shot, damn you Tifa) and im sure squall could easyly handle cloud, and zell would get his ass kicked (like usual) and squall would prolly finish things

and two things, 1 you want a really big sword? watch one of squalls limits, his sword grows bigger than the diamiter of the planet itself, now thats what i call BIG!!! and 2 lionheart has about 1.5 times the number of hits tha omnislash has, counted them myself, not to mention the junction thing, with stat on 100 deaths for attack, slice dead, slice dead, over, plus Cloud has a tendancy to get angry, and Squall can keep his cool under almost any conditions, so he could easyly use clouds frustration against him

and Cloud is not older that Squall; hes a damn clone, hes only been around for like 2 years!!!

No. Hes Not.

If you had Played FF7 properly or at least remembered it correctly, or read various explanations of the plot online you'll find out that cloud isnt a clone.

He was born like a normal human person, at the age of 15 he joined SOLDIER, soon after that was the Nibelheim incident. Cloud and Zack were captured and used as test subjects and injected with Jenova cells. When Zack and Cloud escaped to Midgar Zack and Cloud were both shot and left for and assumed Dead. As Cloud lay dying the jenova cells within his body reacted causing him to absorb some of Zacks memories.

So cloud is NOT as Clone and is still older than Squall.

And to stay on topic i stand by the People i chose before Cloud and *sigh* Tifa, Cloud is just more highley trained and Proffesional than Squall and Tifa - much as i hate her - was able to combat a super-human and keep an upper-hand throughout most of the fight - which i highly doubt Zell could do.
 
Well, FFVIII is by far the greatest FF for me, but I have to agree that Squall and Zell would get completely owned.

That Tifa would tear Zell apart seens pretty obvious, now about Squall vs Cloud... Of course, if he wasn't an ex-soldier infused with Mako AND Jenova cells, I think they would fight for a long time.

hmm....Im guessing Cloud and Tifa because Cloud was IMO a better trained soldier. And Tifa would destroy zell:P
 
I'd go for Tifa and Cloud.
Even though, Zell and Squall are good fighters, Tifa and Cloud are just better than them. :P
 
Tifa and Cloud mainly because after I see Tifa kick ass in Advent Children, I'd prefer to be on her side than against her.
