Worst fannon couple

Which fannon couple do you absolutely hate, but so many fangirls/boys seem to squeal over at any chance they get? And then you can't go to deviant art with out searching through tons and tons of pictures of that couple in order to find something that you like?

For me, it is Yuffie and Vincent. Those two are just not compatible. As much as I love Yuffie I think she would annoy Vincent very quickly. And he is so much older than her and going to continue to live long after she is dead.

Ah yes, as soon and I added the "other" option, I realized that this thread could get nasty. So I said no Cleris or Cloti. We know how civilized those thread are.

You wouldn't believe how much disturbing fanart I've come across of Rikku and Auron. Often it seriously looks like an old man molesting a young child. And seriously, those two just are not compatible.

Here is seriously the reasoning for that pairing.
Yuna loves Tidus
Lulu loves Wakka
OMG Rikku needs someone to love! Kimari is not human. OMG Auron! Who cares that he's like 20 years older than her Rikku needs to be in love with someone lolz!

Can't there be one girl in FFX that isn't in love with a guy?

I would have voted for Rikku and Auron but Yuffie is one of my favorite FF characters. I love her because she is the only girl who is not in love with Cloud or any other guy. Not that I have anything wrong with romance, it's just that I hate when every female character in a series needs to be paired up. I don't see all the guys getting paired up. Well Yuffie/Vincent just ruins that. Plus it really gross just to think about.

However, while I did choose Sephiroth-x-Cloud, if I had actually seen the Cid-x-Vincent choice, maybe I would have chosen that.

I was just simply putting in the most common fannon couples. It is amazing at how much slash there is for the most cracked up pairings.

Sephiroth and Cloud is amazingly popular.

The majority of fannon pairings of any kind make me want to cry.

I voted for Cloud and Sephiroth. Sorry, but I just don't like seeing the main hero and main villain getting paired with each other.

Auron and Rikku is cringe worthy, too. As said before, Auron is not a child molester and Rikku is not a necrophiliac. Plus it seems that she gets on his nerves in the game.

The Red XII and Cait Sith one is actually kind of amusing. I'm not exactly sure how it's possible, as Cait Sith is a stuffed animal, but 10/10 for the lulz.

Aerith and Sephiroth is just...no.

Like with Rikku and Auron, Yuffie seems to get on Vincent's nerves, so no thank you. DO NOT WANT.

And what the HELL is with Vincent and Cid? Even though I hate Vincent, I can at least understand why he has fangirls, but...Cid? Oh hells no. I thought he was a funny character, and is actually my favorite character in the game, but geez, he is not even remotely attractive. So no.

I just remembered another really bad one I've seen, lo and behold...Larsa and Vayne! I highly doubt Vayne would molest his twelve year old brother. The people who came up with this one are really sick in the head.

Darn, now I wish I would've voted under 'Other'.

I'm not a fan of any guy-guy pairings, but CloudxSquall in particular just really gets on my nerves. There are so many videos for them on youtube it's ridiculous :/

This is the first I've heard of the AuronxRikku pairing, but I already dislike it. Only person I can see Rikku ever ending up with is Gippal =P

One that I actually like off the list is Aerith and Sephiroth. Not sure why, I just do xD

Vincent/Cid is popular because of the yaoi rule that if they so much as look at eachother, they must be secretly fucking. This applies especially to Vincent/Cid since Vincent has alot of interactions with him compared to the rest of the cast.
