Shoutbox mod?

Hi there,

I've never seen a shoutbox mod for vB before, and I have to say it's pretty cool. Where can I find info on it (or what is it called)?
 
there arent any mods on the shoutbox, and im thankful for it, if there was, theres no knowing what Riku will do.....
 
Tidus Blade, two things. First, the "mod" doesn't necessarily refer to a moderator on the shoutbox, it can short for "Modification". Secondly, I have given you plenty of verbal warnings for that kind of drama and, frankly, I'm sick of it. You will be officially warned for drama.
 
Hm.. didn't mean to start any trouble. I'd like to install a copy on a forum I admin, and was curious what it was called. :)
 
If you mean Mod as in moderator, not a good idea, since so stuff can be hard to find if someone isn't on when it happens and because all mods go on there and it wouldn't be much of a problem for them to fix something. If you mean modifications, sure. Good idea if ya ask me.

I mean "mod" as in "modification", not "moderator". The shoutbox is a modification for vBulletin (which is what this forum is) that adds a chat room to the website. Sort of like how the RPG on here is also a vBulletin modification. :eek:

That said, I think I may just Google around and figure out which one this site has.. :p
 
The shoutbox on this forum is called vBShout by Zero Tolerance and can be downloaded at vBulletin.org. There are actually two versions of the hack so you might wanna take a look at them both first.

And before you ask me, no it won't happen. I'm afraid I won't be able to give you the files by myself since it is against their ToS so you'll have to download it yourself, I guess. Also I suggest you to download the v2.1 one if you're running on a huge forum such as this forum otherwise you'll have major issues with your server. ;)
