Hey, first of all: i'm new here, but i guess it won't matter much, so whatever.

I've got an question about FFXll:

I'm trying to complete an hunt called ''Little love on the big plains'' I need to visit Dania at the Nomad village on the Giza plains, the problem is, it's raining and i can't find her there.

Hope someone can help me,

Thanks in advance!

I think you have to visit the village during the dry season in order to see her..

Try going to some different places such as the Damalasca Easterlands or something and then go back to see if it's the dry season yet.. It'll change to it eventually :)

Hopefully this will help, thank you!

No problem :)

And I just remembered something that may help you: It is sunny in the Giza Plains for two gameplay hours, then it is rainy for one.

Good Luck!

Thanks! however;

Something realy strange happend, i came back from the Ozmone plain, and it was dry (not sunny, if that matters). On my way to Nomad village i had to enter through an ''gate'' if you get what i mean (the blue things on your map, when you're entering an different area) and it started to rain again. >_<

EDIT: I came to the Nomad village, the rain stopped ( still not sunny) and Dania aint there.

A question: Can i also wait at a sub area to let the season change? if yes, then does it matter how long?

Thanks in advance!

Mod Edit: Please refrain from double posting.

Hmmm that's strange... My best guess is that you haven't meant the requirements for this hunt yet. You have to have completed the Barheim Passage, and you must have a clan rank of Hedge Knight.

If you have done that, then maybe you could go complete another hunt or progress in the story a little more, then return. As for the weather, I'm pretty sure you can wait at a sub area. I have no idea how long though, because the weather in the game has a mind of it's own >_< It's very annoying as you've already found out.

You can be in Rabanastre for the remaining hour. In East gate you can see if it's rains or the dry.
Strangely, seazons in Giza didn't change for me until I got the Dawn Shard... But that doesn't matter ^^

I am an hendge knight but didn't complete the Barhein passage yet, i'll do that,

thank you!

(ps, sorry for posting double)

You're welcome ^^ I'm glad I could help. If you have anymore questions just ask.

What the hell

I've been waiting at Rabanstre for an hour, no sun yet,
I've been waiting at the Westersand for an hour, no sun yet.

It just keeps raining, and when it's dry( not sunny, just lots of dark clouds) it's an matter of time till the rain starts again.

So many people panic over the weather in giza plains it's not funny. The
weather in Giza is locked during two parts in the game. From the start till
Raithwalls tomb the season will always be dry. After Raithwalls tomb till
roughly after leaving Jahara the season will be locked as the rainy season.
After that the season changes over a period of time, takes roughly an hour.
There is a seeq in the southern exit of Rabanastre that calls himself the
weather eye and will tell you how close it is till the season in Giza changes

If he doesn't refer to himself as the weather eye it's likely too early yet
in the story for the seasons in giza to change. Advance the story and try
again later.

^ Hopefully that helps. The weather in this game drove me absolutely insane, but I eventually beat all of the marks, so I know you can too.

I don't get that part, what's suppose to be ''the start'' and hows it locked? when i walk from the Raithwalls tomb till leaving Jahara?

"The Start" is the beginning of the game, or whenever you get control of Vaan I guess. So the weather in the Giza Plains will be dry from that point on until you complete Raithwalls tomb. Once you complete his tomb, it will be rainy until you complete the Jahara part of the story; then the weather will go from rainy to dry depending on the game clock, which is what I mentioned earlier.

Does that make sense?

Not realy, busy with the Jahara part now since i haven't finished that one yet, i think this would realy help, thank you!

Edit: i should have started this hunt earlier. :p

You should be able to finish it after you complete the Jahara part. Just make sure you've finished the Barheim Passage too.

Have fun! ^^

It just got dry since i finished the jahara part.

Thanks for all your help everyone!
