Gackt is one of the better mainstream music artists in Japan... not that I have any Japanese CDs aside from Final Fatnasy related soundtracks, but I do like Gackt enough to view music videos of his from time to time, and download a couple songs here or there, which is more than I can say for any other Japanese artist. Gackt actually did a really great single for the Zeta Gundam movies back in 2006, and the music video was pretty cool (especially if you're a gundam fan).
