Reks is very stupid

i dont like the start of ff12 because rekks is stupid because a) it takes too long to finsh his part and to get into the game and b) u carnt lvl him up cause he dies at the end of the start so its pointless and annoying id just rather start in the waterway with vaan and kytes
 
About the lack of dressing apparel, it's called fan service ;)

Games are suppose to appeal to the gamers, and little gimmicks like the lack of coverage gets people into the game more.

His right arm is plated whilst his left isn't. I'd have thought the arm that used the sword would have been light to help him keep his balance. Unless he was left handed...

I think it was just purley for the tutorial but they choose to include abit of backstory so we could learn abit about Bashe and Reks instead of just being told I guess

As for his clothing, meh since when habe Final Fantasy characters ever dressed appropriately, just look at Tifa, and Aeris, how the hell could she run in that long pink frock thing.
I wont even get started on Ashes peice of material xD
 
Reks is soldier and soldier all wear same equipment and his gear wasn´t same as other soldiers ( obviously he had to be different looking from other characters). He also knew he was going to be in a war.

Aeris (and others) on the otherhand didn´t know in the morning that oh boy today I will kill 10 000 monsters and get stabbed by bad guys.
 
Ashe was a rebel & fighting when you meet her
Tifa was part of a resistence so she knew she would be fighting to. Aeris was always escaping from the Shinra & was used to danger apparently, so it's not like they led cozy lives and were suddenly dumped into battle

Although Rek's outfit is different from all the others, Iv no idea why, maybe he was in light armour and all the rest heavy or something.... o_O
