Ash chooses YOU to participate in FFF's
Well, the game Pokemon Diamond/Pearl has been out for about a month now, and that means the majority of you who play pokemon have probably already picked up a copy (and if you haven't, don't worry).
Now with the advancment in technology, about 90% of the Pokemon Trainers have access to some sort of WiFi Connection. As you trainers know, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl has WiFi compabability, with the ability to battle with trainers online (along with trading).
Now here is YOUR chance to prove yourself as a trainer! Cecil of FFF proudly presents the 2007 National Pokemon Championship!!
Rules:
1) There will be absolutely NO use of Action Replay or any other cheat device. If such activity is suspected with good reason, the cheater shall be immediately disqualified.
2) Hacked Pokemon (Darkrai, Shaymin etc.) are banned. You may not use them, as they are currently not available in North America as of yet. If you are seen using one of these hacked pokemon (even if its from trade, or from a Japanese player) you will be immediately disqualified. Also, Legendary pokemon are strictly prohibited. As some trainers believe that legendaries kill the fun of the game, the only matches in which Legendaries are allowed will be the freestyle battles.
3) Please keep the vulgar language to a minimum while in battle. You may talk with the opponent(s), but they may be offended by certain words (such as fuck, faggot, bitch etc.). Also, racisim of any kind will not be tolerated, and will result in an immediate disqualification if it is used.
4) You may not inflict a status effect more then once. For example; if you paralyze your opponent's pokemon, and s/he switches pokemon, you may not paralyze any other pokemon for the rest of the battle, even if the paralyzed pokemon is defeated. But you may inflict another status effect, such as sleep, or poison.
5) For the single battles, there will be a 3-Pokemon limit. If you are caught using more then 3 (Sure, you can use less then 3, if you wish), you will be immediately removed from the contest.
6) For the double battles, there will be a 4-Pokemon limit. If you are caught using more then 4 (Sure, you can use less then 4, if you wish), you will be immediately removed from the contest.
Leagues:
There will be four different categories in which you may participate in.
1) Single: In this league, all players are welcome, however, if you are not yet a Pokemon Master, you may be defeated quickly. All pokemon will be set to level 100. Legendaries are not allowed.
2) Double: In this league, it will be 2-on-2. Players who are not yet Pokemon Masters are welcome, however may be defeated easily. All pokemon will be set to level 100. Legendaries are not allowed.
3) Single/Freestyle: Anything can be done, no rules apply, any pokemon can be used, NO CHEAT DEVICES, no levels will be set.
4) Double/Freestyle: An exact version of the Single/Freestyle, with the exception that it is 2-on-2.
Prizes:
Prizes for each division will be given out after the championship is over, sponsored by Cecil of FFF. Prizes include,
1) Item of your choice.
2) Pokemon of your choice.
3) A battle with any other trainer with rules of your choice.
Once a winner is decided, the winner may pick a prize from the list above, and send the details to me via Private Message.

How To Sign Up:
Just simply post your Trainer Name and your Friend Code, along with the category you wish to sign up for. Once the spots are filled, you are out of luck. If something comes up and you cannot make it, please PM me, and I'll have you name removed from the list, to make room for other trainers.
The championship will begin on July 1st, so get your applications in soon so that you can have a chance to win!
