As you may probably know, I'm an intense history geek/buff/ whatever....
But this question's been bugging me for a while now so I'll just ask it.

Why were the Jews persecuted?
I mean, what was the point? As far as I've learned, there shouldn't have been any reason to persecute them. It only served to highlight the inconsistencies of christian doctrine, i.e. be pious, godly.
Why, why, why?

If you want to know why....well, I am sure you learned about this. @_@

It happened to be that Nazism had obsessive and racist beliefs about Jews as "racial enemies". Jews were subjected to arbitrary arrest, internment, torture and murder. The German Nazis thought of themselves as an "Aryan Master Race". To them the Jews, as well as Negros and the Slavic peoples, were inferior. These racist Nuremberg Laws (1935-1939), specifically designed to discriminate against Jews, legalized and enforced racial segregation and discrimination.

Well, yeah, I know that.
What I'm talking about is the historical reason why the Jews were hated.
Not just by the Nazis but all throughout time.
Like during the plague, they were banished from most European centers and were highly hated.
Why are they, even now hated?
I want to know what's the real 'cause of why they are hated, as well as why some people other than the Nazis hate them.

Anyways, you want the real reason? Well, it all goes back to the seperation of Jesus from the Jewish religion and such. Also, the Muslim religion has a strong connection to Judaism, but God apparently banished the Muslim's from the home of the Jewish savior: Abraham. XD

During the plaque, it's simple. Most people were Catholic and Christian. And they thought that the plaque was for their sins and such, not anyone else's. And, like the Nazi's, the Christians pushed them out in hopes of achieving salvation.

Meh. I believe that is what it was. I am not entirely positive and not a big history buff, but meh. At least it's something.
