you cant build a building with a keyboard so im inclined to agree. otherwise maybe that wouldve been true 25 years ago, but now you have to write a novel before you even get to do a hello world program.

We used to have to write algorithms so much last year, I just put in the most generic steps I could, "perform tasks/calculations" was the basis for most of them

theyre doing it all wrong. pseudocode is shithouse in the most useful way. you break down the problem so that even someone with downs can read it but no one's interested in doing that.
