Shouldn't this be called MMORPG?

It can be referred to as either since the G stands for game and RPG stands for Role Playing Game. xD So there is no mistake in the title. Just a shorter version of MMORPG. People call them MMOG and MMO all the time.

^ Yea, she's exactly right. I've seen it referred to as both. MMO, MMOG, or MMORPG are the usual abbreviations... but you're right, I see the other two far more often. Doesn't really make much difference to me though.
