I was wondering if anyone here has ever shipped their Xbox 360 into Microsoft for repairs?

If you have, how long did it take for them to repair your console and get it back to you?

I shipped mine to them a few days ago. The packaging information said to expect a 6-8 week wait for your Xbox 360's return. For people who lack things to do like me, that's a long time.

I was hoping that maybe they purposely overestimate the waiting period...so they don't get a thousand calls from people wondering where their 360 got to.

Honestly, I'm tired of these garbage 360s. I've literally had 5 different Xboxs over the last two years.

i opened my Xbox 360 up to have a look cause it suddenly stopped playing games but i couldnt send it back to microsoft but i did find a shop that fixed it for me cost me enough £80 to fix it if it does break again :O:O:O i would go mad

I'd say the chances are high that it will break again. I've never had a more unreliable console in my life.

My brother sent his in and got it back in like 3 weeks I think. It sure as hell didnt feel all that long , next thing you know hes playing again. i dun think itll take 6-8 weeks thats insane, a month tops from what I hear on G4

Oooh, that's not too bad. Gives me some hope of not having to wait two or so months for the thing to get back, at least.

Thaaaank you, sir. :]
