Multiple Platforms X Men Legends.

Has anyone played any of the games in this series?

I dug out X Men legends one the other night, since I was in the mood for it, and it's a pretty fun game, and I think it's really faithful to the comics too, which is always a plus.

Sure it's a bit repetitive, and I'm finding the later levels in X Men Legends 1 to be incredibly frustrating, but it's so much fun.

It's great being able to put together a mutant team. My favourite is the Jean Grey / Storm / Wolverine / Cyclops team, unoriginal I know, since they were the X men movie team, but very efficient. Jean and Storm can effectively destroy everything, while Cyclops and Wolverine make for great backups.

I'm replaying number one at the moment, but I'm going to re-buy number 2 soon, I lent it to someone a couple of years ago, and I never talk to or see them anymore, so, gotta re-buy D=

But yeah, I think that they're both fun games and definitely worth picking up for any X Men fan ^^

You know...I used to have this game a long time ago and sold it for some reason. I have no idea why, it was pretty cool. It is a little repetitive, but pretty much everything in that sort of Diablo-esque genre is, you just have to have the taste for it. I don't mind it at all, especially because of all the fanservice.

I think what I like most about this series is how you can upgrade individual skills and abilities on characters, so it's very customizable. I wish JRPGs would do that more often, but it seems to mostly be in WRPGs.

Never have played the second one...I should probably pick both up though, seeing as how I liked the first, and I absolutely love Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

I've never played the first, but I have played the second, and it's very satisfying. Gaining levels, getting new/upgraded powers and beating the living crap out of ANYTHING in my path is just plain WIN to me.

My Team:
Wolverine-Obvious reason why, he's freaking WOLVERINE!
Iceman-Very useful powers, and I like that he's voiced by Tidus (aka James Arnold Taylor).
Cyclops-Variety of beam powers is pretty nice.
Gambit-Gambit is badass and has the best use of playing cards in the history of the universe, need I say more? Yugi, MOVE THE HELL OVER, cause Gambit was here first! XD
