Willow and Labyinth

I never seen Labyrinth. I heard is was a pretty good movie. Still need to see it one of these days.

I do own Willow for VHS. This is truly one of the greatest classics of my childhood years. I think I'll watch it when I get home as I haven't seen it in over 3 years.

I never had a chance to see Labyrinth, but I've heard good things about it. ^.^

I thought Willow was a cute movie. And Val Kilmer was incredibly HOT. XD

Sigh, knock off the spammy one line posts please.

I watched both films as a child, but sadly I dont own either of them. David Bowie was a great actor for Labyrinth.

You dont see films like that any more. Another fantasy one is Legend starring a young Tom Cruise.

Another one I lump in with those as far as '80s fantasy nostalgia tends to be The Princess Bride. I loved Willow, and still do (General Kael was badass). Labyrinth was maybe a little too Jim Henson for me, and the fact it's half-musical didn't help...good gravy I hated "Babe with the Power." And Princess Bride is the type of storybook fantasy that likely won't be topped anytime soon.

As for Legend, I thought visually it was incredible. Tim Curry as the Dark Lord or whatever he was called looked and acted the business. However, a lot of the story and elements within didn't grab me, and I haven't had the urge to go back to it since.
