So how weird is it that people are actually getting injured by these controllers flying off of their wrists, I guess due to maybe defective wristbands?? I mean it's not really funny if people are getting really hurt, but I couldn't imagine it could cause too much bodily harm!

LOL! That is true, Ive seen cases where it broke thier TV's, the screen
there will be better wrist bands though, it's even better if you make your own somehow

 LoL, that's true I would be a heck of a lot more upset if it damaged my new flat-screen tv than if actually injured me!!

I'd make my own somehow too, just to be doubly sure!

All these incidents with the controller seem rather odd, isnt there a way to adjust the strap that goes around your arm so it can be tighter.

Also, I heard that fat, unfit ppl got problems playing the Wii, no offence to any1
Hope my screen dosent break XD

LoL, yeah that is true I never really thought about the really out of shape, maybe a little heavier people playing on the Wii! That could cause some difficulty! Plus you would get tired really easily too!

Well, maybe this'll help them get into shape??

The Wii controller isn't that bad. The band you put around your wrist is adjustable. So people that "apparently" break their screens either didn't adjust it well enough or didn't wear it at all.

As for the fat people having problems, I wouldn't see how. All you do is get up and move around on the sport games. Baseball you actually take the remote and swing it, while holding it. Same with pitching.

No, the problem isn't with adjusting the strap tighter or anything, the controller has that thicker band that goes around your wrist, and then a smaller, thinner one connecting the band to the controller. Thats the one that's fraying and breaking off I believe.

@Turbo: but I have seen a video of a person playing the boxing game on Wii sports, you move your arms alot, to unfit people, they could get tired very quickly.

that's cannot be true i have it and to play zelda you dont need much moves and it's funny the only ting that make me tiring a bit it's the boxiung on wii sports

I heard about that too. They decided to make the straps thicker but the one person said something like "It doesn't matter how thick we make it, if you swing it around too much chances are something is going to happen."

lololol I like that, so true. And that the one person telling of the recall of bands wanted not to be thought of as a recall. But just a "Mass replacement".

I have a Wii. I don't think it has anything to do with defective straps, I believe that some people just can't hold on to their Wii-mote. I mean, when you play baseball or golf, do you ever let go of the bat or club when you swing?
