Playstation Where can I get a PSP Warrenty?

I bought my psp at gamestop about 5 months ago and realized I forgot to get a warrenty with it, so I went back to gamestop and asked for a warrenty and they asked me for my reciept of my psp purchase... ya thats long gone and they said with out it I couldnt get a warrenty for it.
Is there a way I can get one online someway? cause its pretty expensive ya know =P
am I screwd?


O and another question, I fully charged my psp a couple weeks ago and havent played it since. Just now I tried to play it again and my battery went dead. Im sure as hell i didnt have it in sleep mode, i made sure of it.

Without any proof of your purchase, you are pretty much screwed. You didn't happen to buy it with a debit or credit card did you? If you did, you could probably get a detailed ledger from your bank, stating that you spent xxx $ at Gamestop on xxx date. I don't know if they would accept that as proof of purchase, but if possible, it is worth a try.

Yeaaah, take good care of that PSP. You won't be able to obtain a warranty for it without proof of purchase.

Even if you had a receipt or something of the sort, it's probably too late to warranty that PSP since you've had it for 5 months already.
