What is your favourite sidequest?

for me it has to be the chocobo racing, i think it is a great way to break up the long heavy plot and enables you just to have a bit of fun in between the tough bits.

the sidequest i didnt like is the forest of the ancients where you get Typhoon, it took me about 40 tries to get through this place

I really liked Chocobo racing more the first time through. I just did it again about a month ago and it seemed more tedious than anything.

My favorite sidequest is probably getting Vincent in the Shinra Mansion. Combine that with the Cloud/Zack scenes in the basement and Shinra Mansion is one of the most interesting parts of the game.
