Has anyone besides me read any of the Warcraft novels? I am not really big into the game world that they come from, but I just plain like the whole magic and elves and dragons and basically anything fiction. So these novels are very interesting to read. So far I have read War of the Ancients and Arthas:Rise of the Lich King and currently waiting on my copy of Stormrage to come in and just ordered The Day of the Dragon and The Night of the Dragon. Has anyone else read or wanted to read any Warcraft novels?

I've read Lord of the Clans, War of the Ancients, Cycle of Hatred, Tides of Darkness, Beyond the Dark Portal, Rise of the Horde, Day of the Dragon, Night of the Dragon, and Arthas. The Warcraft novels aren't great literature by any means, but they make for some nice, light reading every once in a while :)

My favourites would probably Lord of the Clans and Rise of the Horde because I am a bit Horde-centric and these books fill out some background which isn't in the games. My least favourites would be Night of the Dragon and Arthas. Night of the Dragon because it's just awful and Arthas because it's basically just a recap of the Alliance and Scourge campaigns from Warcraft 3 with a couple of childhood chapters throwin into the mix for good measure.

I've read most of them, my favourite by far being Rise of the Horde. The War of the Ancients was great, I learnt so much more story than I'd gotten from the online game. I didn't have a background in the PC games, I just started straight on WoW, so I love getting backstory from the novels. I even bought Warcraft 3 and played with cheats so I could get the whole Scourge story...
