So...we all know that Vincent was sleeping for 30 years or so and that he has stopped aging at '27'..and it's been assumed that that was when the testing began. Anyway, when I was playing DoC I found that the Vincent in the flashbacks seemes a lot younger than 27, I thought he seemed very early twenties from the way he acted. So how do we know that he was actualy 27 when the tests STARTED and that the stop in his aging didn't come until he had been tested on for years?

Vincent was like 27 when he joined the terks.. and shot by HoJo. then he in the tank for another 3 years.. then slept in the coffin for another 30 years.. so adding all that crap up.. vincent is a 60-year-of-pwner. that looks 20......... frikin Vampire
So I take it he stopped aging immediately then? I still don't know why I think he seems younger when I watch the DoC scenes with Lucrecia...still seems early twenties to me...maybe it's cause he's so whipped.

how true... like I said.. he was in his twenties as a turk, then lucrtcia slowed his aging .. and he aged very little in the 30 years that he slept in the coffin

I believe Mr. Valentine slept in the coffin with a 27 years old, and the effect of Jenova made his age turns slow to pass across the time; then, in AC, Vincent should be around 60, but he's more like 30!

Physically, he is 30 years of age. According to the strategy guide for DoC, he is physically 30 years old. We were all convinced he was aged at around 27 years of age. When the Protomateria was implanted into him, it stopped his aging as he slept. This signifies that he was, in fact, 27 when he was awakened from his slumber...which also signifies that he doesnt age at all. Physically speaking, he is thirty years of age, which tends to confuse us because we were all convinced he was 27...according to the facts stated above, I can conclude that he is, in fact, 30 years old.

Because of Hojo's strange experiments on him after the Lucredia crisis, Vincent's body ages slower than normal, it takes a lot longer for his body to recognize the signs of age or to grow and mature normally. It's like a person with a slightly low IQ trying to work out a question most people would understand, when Vincent ages slightly - It's like his body is saying '' O-ohh I get it now !!..'' and carries on..

That makes sense...but what we discuss is only theory based on facts we've recollected as fans...but you have a point. But, according to what I have seen, he doesnt age at all...I dont recall him aging slowly...
