Now I've been asked to create an avatar with a rollover effect on it which is simple enough in ImageReady, but how/where would you upload it so you can use it?

What format is it in?
I've got it in psd format still, it can only be saved as that or you can save optimized as images and/or html which I've also done.

If you're gonna make it an avatar I don't think you can have a rollover effect. I believe avatars (forum avatars that is) can only be gifs jpegs or pngs. None of those formats will incorporate a rollover effect. However gifs will accept animation, so I guess if you removed the rollover and just made it animated it would work.
