If there's other espers, you have to get those too, which I think you did. Plus you have to do some hunt where you fight an oversized Humbaba (can't remember the name right now) in the Zertinan Caverns I believe. I thought there was 13 Espers.
There are 13 espers. I think you only need to get 10 for him to unlock the Henne mines. However, you do have to do that hunt that you were talking about. Unless you do both, he'll tell you that you're underleveled.

Yeah, he nailed it. If you do not beat the 2 Garif hunts (I think it's Ixiotab though and not Adrramelech), The Geomancer will just keep telling you that you congrats on beating so-and-so, or else he will tell you that a great evil lies soemwhere. He's referring to the hunts that two of the Garif people posted bills for. Defeat them, acquire 10 Espers, and then talk to Geomancer Jim.
I cant get back to the hunt ixtab, its in the henne mines and i have tried every way to get back there, cause im at the end of game now, already beat it, and i did not do it during the timeline of the game so am i locked out? What do i have to do?

No, you have to get the chocobo from the Garif and then ride it through that patch of grass. It's on the opposite side of the place you get the chocobo from. Is that what you mean?
You can enter also enter Henne Mines from Feywood, but monsters there are over level 60.

You can enter the henne mines through the feywood, but it's blocked off by an overturned cart or something. How do you get passed that anyway?
You have to go and get 10 of the esper and then do all the garif related hunts... then the geomancer of the tribe will tell you he unlocked the henne mines. It's basically where you fought Tiamat.
