This is the first poem I've entered on this forum, so bare with me, I am used to writing hip-hop lyrics (don't be so quick to judge, those lyrics themselves are much different / more poetic than your average gun-toting lyricist). Hopefully I'll muster up the courage to put my stuff up here, they are better and have more meaning than this poem, which I just typed up for a quick sample:

Damn heirship! Now that airship's,
a fool's to inherit,
a fool who would wear it and tear it,
while others would share and cherish

A fool's, to play with or display,
every sense of the word misuse,
To FLY on Cid's accomplishments,
never WALK, not in his shoes

Even worse, having never walked,
these fools, they tend to mock,
those who run their entire lives,
underneath the "airship" flock
yet they know not...
Not of the pain, nor suffering
Not of humiliation, nor ridicule
Not of labor, nor hardships,
Still they prevail, regardless

However...
In light of this never ending darkness,
those who always walk,
will commandeer the airships,
then on land they'll always dock
...........................................
Please give me any tips or feedback, once again, I don't usually write "poems" per se, so if I'm not using proper syllable count and such, sue me.
Let me know what you guys think of it! :)
