What was your general strategy on key boss fights? I'm not saying list them all because they have lots of bosses in this game. But on memorable (to you at least) boss fights, how did you manage?

I beat Normal mode. I'm currently doing Hard mode as I have it unlocked.

Personally, at late game, my strategy at any time I get Tifa is make her go nuts with her unarmed attack combos and quickly heal with chakra. Repeat again and again. She has good speed so her ATB fills quickly. Then quick heal and quick attacks. I'm honestly obsessed with that strategy even more than Cloud's sword swinging.

Don't have a proper pre-planned strategy ,,,, my one change with my mood while playing
and i have never played on difficult level always on normal or sometimes easy
because i am notsogood at strategy games ,,,i enjoy more in racing (driving) games

I also don't use a proper pre-planned stratgegy, I just usually go in on boss fights with my team as they are and just fight like the boss is a normal enemy for the most part. It isn't until I've died do I go back in with a new strategy depending on how the last fight went. Because each boss is so different and requires different strategies depending on what kind of an enemy they are it's hard to really say what 'strategy' I use, I just tweak things as needed, which includes armor & materia assessment. Sometimes the strategy changes mid-battle too, which is okay, but it's nice going back into battle from the start with the revised strategy & finish the boss off quickly I guess the only solid strategy I use is making my other team members co-heal me with magic (playing mainly as Cloud) unless I need to do it manually with items. I like that you can swap between characters though and swap up the stratagy that way. But yeah, there's no 'real' stratagy other than adapt and conquer lol

That's how I am as well, but I naturally gravitate towards something in the end. I only change it up unless it's necessary.

For Cloud, I rarely use his "Infinity's End" ability. I consider Triple Slash to be a better bang for your buck.
