I don't see many people watching this anime, and I don't know the reason for this, because it's an awesome anime =P I'm at Episode 11 currently, and I'm enjoying every episode of it.
Story for those who haven't watched it:

So yeah, this anime is sci-fi action... in most episodes >.> It's about some girls living in Academy City, a city whose population is 80% students, and is filled with schools, and everyone is researching about "abilities" and espers (people who have an "ability"). There are lots of abilites and the majority (if not all) of ability users live in the Academy City.
The story focuses on the Tokiwadai school, which is pretty famous and is filled with very good students, including Misaka Mikoto, nicknamed "Railgun", a Level 5 Ability User that has mastery over electricity. A girl named Shirai Kuroko, member of Judgement - the corporation tasked with the safety of the City - is transferred there with a wrong impression about Tokiwadai's students and especially Misaka. She becomes her roommate and friend, and also apparently develops a crush on her >.> (yes, they're both girls >.>).
The other main characters are Uiharu Iforgotherlast name, a Level 1 Ability User who doesn't seem to improve, and also a member of Jugdement; and Saten Iforgotherlastname, an ability-less girl who is Uiharu's friend and always dreamed to become an ability user. These girls become Shirai and Misaka's friends (although Uiharu was a pretty old friend of Shirai).
Also, Shirai can teleport herself and other things (including people), while Misaka has expert control over electricity and anything related to it, such as magnetic fields and the RAILGUN, her ultimate weapon that COMPLETELY OWNS EVERYTHING and is unbelievably awesome.
All the episodes are very interesting and worth watching.
The opening is one of my favourite anime openings, along with Ready Steady Go and Hellsing's OP.
Shirai and Misaka make a great couple, are both hawt, and are awesome as well. I'm in love with both, and instead of choosing one of them, I choose both! =P
