Thread Deleting

I've been noticing a lot of threads being deleted just because there's another thread with the same topic that's a month old and unlisted of the first page or the administrator/moderator thinks it's "pointless". For example, ~SapphireStar~ gives me an ugly reply to my thread.

Sigh, another pointless thread. Look, get it, you like it, keep it. If not return it. Our opinions cant make this decision for you. This is just whore posting isnt it?

There was a point to my thread. I wanted the friendly community to help my decision to whether or not get this game. If the community pushes me enough and posts enough, you guys can change or help my decision. Whore posting? My name says it all? ~SapphireStar~ then gives me this ugly conclusion and comment and ends my thread. I thought that was awful of him/her. I just wanted to share my opinions.

I'll probably be leaving these forums, so I don't care if I get warned/banned/flamed.

No, it's not pointless. It's called 'forum rules'. On these forums, your not allowed to make a double thread. If we leave double threads open it will cause multiple posting, spam, and many more pages of each of each section. Not to mention, it's more work for moderators, and staff keeps the forums clean.

It's not hard to do a little page search. At the bottom there is a link to page 2,3,4 etc. You can check other topics, it's not hard. Also your allowed to bump threads that are a few months old. People will respond back.

You could have looked through these threads, and made your own decision based on other people's opinions.

Your thread about buying FFXII wasn't necessary by the way. As moderators, we are suppose to closed double threads. Do not call out on Sapphire_Stars about it.

Well, yeah, Sapphire_Stars was kinda mean but *shrugs* I can't really do anything about it. No offense, moderators sometimes get sick of dealing with the same thing. As for your name, you have chosen that name so of course people will poke at it.

Edit: If you choose to change your name...There is a name change thread where you can request your name to be changed.

I'm going to close this for now. It will only provoke more drama. If any mods wish to open it or respond by all means.

Next time, PM a moderator before you make a thread.
