Do you know or recall any big changes in translation between for example, the game on SNES and GBA? Or PS and GBA?

I think the most well known is "son of a submariner/sandworm" and I personally think the old one was better :P
Also when Terra meats Sabin and speaks about him, I believe there was a change.

I also think when the party meets Shadow, Locke says:
-He would kill his mama, while in the GBA version, he says:
-He would kill his best friend.

Do you know any other? And do you think they are better or worse?

That part you noted is the biggest change as it finally makes sense in the GBA version. Another would be the Returners Hideout scene. They fixed it to be more like the Japanese version.

Yes, I feel the translations in the GBA is better because it makes a lot more sense comparing it to the older versions. I think it makes the game a lot better when everything makes sense xD

Yes... I think so about the translation of IV Advance and the brilliant translation for V Advance. However in the VIth one, I sometimes wish some of the quotes weren't changed. In the last game, I think the funniest were made for the worse.

Awww, you mean "son of a submariner" isn't the real line? Damn, that thing was right up there along with "Spoony Bard" as classic lines in FF history D=

Wait, what change was there when Terra met Sabin? :hmmm:

Wait, what change was there when Terra met Sabin? :hmmm:
In the original, Terra says:

Terra: Younger... "brother?" At first glance I thought he was some body
builder
who had strayed from his gym...
Sabin: Bodybuilder!?
Sabin: I’ll... take that as a compliment...
Sabin: Anyway, brother, what are you doing here?
Edgar: We’re on the way to the... Sabil mountains.
Sabin: To the Returner’s hideout, no doubt?
Sabin: I’ve been watching from afar, hoping the world might regain some
sanity... At this rate, Figaro will be reduced to a puppet state.
Edgar: Our time to strike back has arrived. The Empire’s going to pay for
what it has done...
Sabin: Think a "bear" like me could help you in your fight?

But in the correct translations, this is what is suppose to go down. Which was changed in the GBA version :)
Terra: His...brother? At first, I thought you were another one of Vargas's
bears...
Sabin: You thought I was a...bear?
Sabin: I guess I'll, uh...take that as a compliment!
Sabin: Anyway... Edgar, what are you doing here?
Edgar: We're on our way to the Sabre Mountains.
Sabin: To the Returner hideout, no doubt?
Sabin: So, the wheels are finally turning... I've been watching from a
distance, hoping the world would come to its senses. The way things
were going, I was afraid Figaro would end up as a puppet state.
Edgar: A means of striking back has presented itself. There will be no more
playing lapdog to the Empire... I'm through with that act.
Sabin: Think a "bear" like me could be of any help?
