Everything is getting rebooted lately huh (it's reaching overkill). So as is usual with Superman they've gone with a relative unknown (though people in the UK who watch The Tudors may know of Cavill). I'm sure he'll be good, Brandon Routh was pretty good, can't really blame him for Superman Returns anyway. And Batman, Spiderman and Superman are now all being played by British actors, we're no longer just the villains!

Directed by Zack Snyder though, oh dear.

I'm fine with this bloke being the new Man of Steel, I just dread the fact that Zack S is directing this. I'm hoping the script alone would give up a worth while movie, but god damn, I can already see the slow motion sequences in my head. We're going to see Clark take off his glasses in the duration of 40 seconds, believe you me it's going to happen
