The Molten Cave

Yeah...You have to run over it. In that case, make sure you have a white mage, and just have them heal throughout the cave.

Every time you start running on the magma, there's often a short distance to run between regular-ground areas, so you'll get frequent stops. Also, after you get the nice items in the room, it won't be long before you get to the rest of the cave.

If HP is still an issue, then don't change jobs...that's a bad idea at this point in the game (takes a while to adapt)...just level up a bit. Try to have all your characters with over 200 HP.
 
this is so annoying the stupid salamander dude i cant kill him he has so much health and my guys are lvl 18 how can i kill him :( i keep on dying. IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, he attacks twice...it hurts, but I managed to get him the first time...Then again, my guys were Lv. 20, and their job levels were around 24 each. Moreover, I had my Knight and Red Mage attacking while my White Mage (In the back) casted Cura on the party over and over, and my Black Mage (In the back) casting Blizzara...It should work.
