Favourite cuisine? Favourite dish? Exotic dishes that you want to learn about? Post here please.

I've been on a cuisine searching rampage in the past month. I've tried Greek, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Dominican, and more ethnic Mexican food during that time span and I have to say it's been quite the experience. I guess I'm starting to be a bit more adventurous in terms of food and honestly all of it has been extremely excellent. :ohoho:

The Greek cuisine has been a particular surprise. Gyros is actually pretty good and if you pair it up with veggies and pita bread it's just awesome. I actually think I'm addicted to pita bread now...

And you?

Oh man... My moms famous Chicken Divan :ohoho:

I forget what she uses but the main ingredients are cooked chicken, broccoli, cheese, and bread crumbs.
I can post the recipe when I find it... But I know there is mayonnaise and cream of mushroom involved too...

It is my FAVORITE dish to have with white rice :D

Greek and Mexican are my two absolute all time favorite cuisines. Unfortunately Mexican food at home just never tastes the same as the restaurants. :( There was this Mexican place literally a block away but they closed about a month ago. I felt like a part of me died...I never really venture outside of the basic tacos, rice, and beans though :wacky: I could live off that.

Greek food is really nice. I love gyros, and Greek sausage is one of the only kinds of sausage I like. I really love the spices they use, and their frequent use of feta cheese. My fav kind of cheese!

I really want to start trying different foods though. I love cooking, and my mom is fed up with me because I am such a picky eater. :lew: Dominican? That's a type of cuisine? 8(

I've always found Mexican food to be bland. Italian and Chinese food are my favs :)

There's an annual Greek festival at this orthodox church downtown that I go to sometimes, and they got some good food as well. Super authentic, too.

And sushi :ohoho: Yes, I am a sushi junkie. I will go to a sushi bar and come out with Triton's crown.

I absolutely adore Italian food. Probably because my grandpa is 100% Italian and always got fed some variety of Italian food every time I see them throughout my life (which is a lot, lol).

For some reason my favorite individual dish of all time, is stuffed cabbage or peppers. <3 I'm also a HUGE sushi junkie. I just wish there was an actual restaurant around here for me to go to.
