The Cultist tower in the Gba Version it's now much harder (I think). The Level 90 Magic are faster (As I think too). Now The only option is(for me):
-Equipping Locke with Gengi Gloves and a Master's Scroll.
-Then Lightbringer, Ultima Weapon and a fine armor and helmet.
-And in battle I use Berserk on Locke, as for one enemy. As for more than one with Locke I use Quick but at the same time he's already in Berserk(2x8 attacks) and BAM, BAM, BAM! Adieu!
 
Cultist Tower.......Don't you mean the tower of Fanatics? I made sure that a few people had already learned Ultima before going in there.
 
that tower is very easy if you have the celestriads equiped and if you already know reraise and ultima. Celestriads can be found for fighting the Brochasurus (you can also steal from him the ribbons.)
