well, theres a button just beside the QUOTE button, which allows you to thank a post, for example, Kazekage needed help and Yuri helped him, Kazekage might press the Thank button, and under the post it will say, Thank: Kazekage Gaara. The whole idea is to stop people from posting thanx, therefore, over half the thread might be posts containing only thanks, It's on a forum where thanking other people is very common, but I dont think theres much need for it here...
To be honest, I don't really see the need for it. It seems like a cool idea, but just sounds like a waste of time.
It'd mostly used in other types of forums, an example would be like a warez forum, somebody posted links to a cracked software, somebody wanted to thank him but the thread will get full of those Thanks posts, one word posts, so instead it shows a button, click it and he recieves your thanks, the more thanks you have, the more active and helpful you are, totally no need for it here 0.o
