Nintendo Super Mario RPG: Legend of Seven Stars

....I never knew Nintendo allowed Square to make a mario game :| And no I never did play it but I will have to look for that and play it on my brothers snes.But can someone please tell me what LotSS stands for? :lol:

idk about the Paper Mario games actually, but Superstar Saga, as I recall, played exactly like LotSS except that you can only be Mario & Luigi in it...

Oh okay that helps alot now :neomon: so is it like the Super Mario brother series and Paper Mario? xD I'm really confused here. :confused: Thats cool though you can play as both Mario and Luigi.Sounds like a great game they should remake.
 
Well, Superstar Saga is a GBA game, and Partners In Time, which plays exactly like Superstar Saga except you also get to play as baby Mario & Luigi, is a DS game...
 
Oh okay now Im not confused anymore. xD I think I've played the Partners In Time one at my friends house for thirty minutes.Really great game.But how did Enix end up making this game?Nintendo actually allowed them. :|
 
Uh, Square (not Enix, this was waaaaaaaaaay back in the day before the merger) only helped Ninny out with LotSS. None of the other Mario RPG games had anything to do with Square.
 
paper mario and superstar saga don't measure up to seven stars baby. I played this game when it came out, and still play through it every now and then. one of the best games ever made.
 
Love this game! Bowser really got some great new sides to him as comic-relief, rival, and anti-hero. And Geno was a great addition - I love the "Let's Play Geno" and the following awakening sequences.

I really wish that Square and Nintendo would come out with a true sequel to this game, instead of the Paper Mario quasi-sequels. Or at least make a quasi-sequel that includes Geno and Mallow, or with Bowser being part of the party again.
 
Trufully im gettin sick and tired of all these mario games....To me they are really not that fun
 
Uh, are you including LotSS, Raikyo? Cause it was a pretty big departure for gamings favorite plummer...and it also happened to be one of his most kickass games...The other Mario RPG games have been similarly as enjoyable (but I haven't played either Paper Mario games)...
