Strengths and Weaknesses?

Hey Everyone.

Just wondering if certain ppl on FF8 have strengths and weaknesses role wise?
I know they have made it so anyone can pretty much do anything but are some better than others?

Is Selphie more magic based than melee based?

If so whats everyones strengths and weaknesses?

I don't really recall specific strengths and weaknesses though it has been awhile since I last played the game. From what I remember, they are what you make them through the Junctioning system..
