strategy for omega in the crystal

Ok... I've got the Excalibur... have had it for a while.. all i need now is a little help with omega. I need some sort of strategy on beating him. Ive fought him down within half of an inch of his little life bar then he just freaks out and starts beating the ba-jesus out of my party.I dont have the guide on me so im just kinda winging it as of now. Is there Any Help out there??

When Omega is in critical status, which means when its body is blinking red.. It will somehow set off its laser hastily juz like what Yiazmat did.. And the laser can juz be as annoying as deathstrike except that it don't deal instant death to u.. Still then it's sure is annoying.. I believe u experienced it too..

To finish Omega when it's in critical status, try to use your mist as much as possible to further reduce its hp.. If not u will probably have insufficient time to heal your party from its haste laser damage..

Another way which is probably a better way is to keep casting decoy and reverse on one party member.. This is to make sure that Omega will only target this particular party member and at the same time Omega's attacks will heal this party member instead of hurting him or her.. But be sure to keep casting it on that party member cuz reverse spell fade off very fast.. Juz make sure u set gambit for casting decoy and reverse on that particular member..

Another thing to take note is, since that party member is on reverse status, u should never ever cast cura, curaja or renew to heal becuz these spells affect anyone within its spell's range.. Therefore it's most likely that the spell will hit that party member with reverse status killing him or her..
