"Thirteen years have passed since the dawn of a new world. A world that was said to be created only for peace, and a place for tranquility...there would be no war, there would be no hate. But what is a world without opinion and feelings? People would be greeted with cheery smiles, brain washed to think that everyone cares, when actually...no one does.
Why would someone want to live in a hateless world? A world without hate, is a world without backbone, a world that is prone to perish. The Kings and Queens would have no laws, no rights to punish. People would be easily hurt by nature, when nature is the only sensible creation in the world. People would start to see signs of danger from small things, and take their minds of what actually matters. This world, would fall. It would never exist.
I don't want this to happen, I think the world should stay as it is. We have criminals, we have law breakers, but what is a world without danger? Danger brings us together, and danger makes us more wary. If we don't know what danger is, how will we be ready for anything else? I turn to my friend, he feels the same, we both want the same thing, but only I can admit it. He doesn't want anything bad to happen to Prism. Prism is full of danger, yes, but the world is better off. Where as, the new world...the danger free world, Pelesium, is destined for defeat.
We both need to make a stand, we all need to. We need to finally come together and share our exact feelings. Our thoughts, we all see it, we all think it, why can't we all just say it? We know that King Cyan is going to send us into a world without worry, and we know that it will not benefit, where as our previous King Amethyst, would know that we don't believe. We don't trust. We are the people, we are the life force of this world. We are people too.
I prayer. We all prayer. We all wish that we could live here, and be united. We wish for King Cyan to realise his faults, and for someone to make a stand. They're going to transport us to this...new world, this Pelesium. We're being docked in certain groups. Some rebellions have started up, and I'm tempted to join. Although I believe in peace, and getting along, I will fight for my beliefs. I see the leader of the rebellion, a young woman, she's mysterious and her appearance is strong. She looks tough. The rebellion named simply the SOLACE, meaning Soldiers Of the Last Army Creating Equality. The name is simple, SOLACE, it's quite nice.
They call out the numbers of our groups. I beg they don't call #14663, I beg. They call #14535, and my friend looks at me. I feel as if I've been impaled. He is taken towards a transporter, and I shout for him to run, I knew it...he was being taken and I would soon follow. I fall to the ground and prayer, people laughing behind me. I cry silently, when am I next...?"
CHAPTER ONE
"SOLACE"
The hide-out was dim, a small lamp attached to the ceiling flickered on and off creating the only source of light in the room. The SOLACE team stayed here, Ivka and her team of soldiers. Ivka was fearless, and a perfect leader for SOLACE, she wanted to change the world, and stop the King's orders to take all civillans into a world that she knew was infact dangerous. The grunts waited on Ivka's word to dispatch and save as many civilians as possible. Ivka stood against the wall, her eyes closed and her arms crossed. She breathed in and out slowly, the soldiers looked at each other mouthing speech to each other. Ivka opened her eyes, and the grunts lined up. She pushed herself off the wall and stepped over to the centre, where she put her heels on the table, and rested her right arm on it. The soldiers looked her up and down before focusing on her face.
"The movement has began, boss." One said.
"They have started moving civilians." Another said.
"..." Ivka groaned.
Ivka removed herself from the table and walked over to her equipment. She began to dress in her armour and attached her sword, she swung it around and began to practice. A few seconds later and she stood before each soldier. Looking deep into their eyes, there was more than one soldier than before, he looked scared...he was shaking. Ivka grabbed his arm tight and he wimpered. She removed his helmet and saw the Prince standing before her. The soldiers gasped, whilst Ivka grinned. The Prince tried to look away, but Ivka grabbed his face and pulled it so he could see her.
"Welcome aboard, your majesty." Ivka said, she turned away.
"I-I..." The Prince replied.
"No. You've come to fight, so you fight." Ivka answered, handing him a sword.
"I have come to make a stand. Fight for my kingdom." He said proud.
"Oh? Good, we need another wimp." Ivka replied laughing as did the others.
Prince River Cyan was not a soldier, he was a hunter. What good would he be with a sword? Ivka realised that River's words were mean't, and he wanted to fight. She took his sword, and made him remove his armour. He stood before her, shaking. She knew he was scared, every word he said made the room shiver. Ivka opened a small cupboard and removed a bow and quiver, filled with arrows. The finest arrows tipped with poison. She threw them at River and he failed to catch, so he gathered them from the floor. The other soldiers laughed.
"Now, now. Silence." Ivka demanded.
"I promise...to fight." River replied.
"I'm sure you do, does the King know of this?" Ivka asked.
"Boss, we need to dispatch now!" A soldier said entering the room.
"Split!" Ivka ordered.
The soldiers began to leave the room after Ivka, leaving River wondering what he needed to do. He was slow to catch up and chased after them as fast he could. They ran through the back streets of the town, Ivka leading, she scanned the area, before transforming her sword into a gun. River was amazed by the change, a soldier whispered to him that it was an illegal weapon, named the Gunblade. Ivka gave orders to move out. She ran along the street shooting her guns at the enemy soldier before hiding behind a wall. The soldiers followed attacking with their swords, people were screaming. Ivka noticed that River hadn't moved.
"Oi!" She shouted, adding. "Get to it!"
"Yes!" River replied running out shooting arrows.
"Oh good lord." Ivka sighed.
Ivka ran out shooting her gun again before it turned back into a sword and she was quick to attack. The civilians were running riot in the town, trying to escape. The King's Knights were heading towards the SOLACE team. Ivka ordered a move out, the team split and Ivka ran out of sight, followed by River and a rather intrigued civilian girl.
