Star Ocean sequels and remakes

Has anyone ever hear of Super Famicom?

For the life of me, I have never been able to find one so that I can purchase and Star Ocean 1. But I'm relieved to find out that both SO1 and SO2 will be remade for the PSP. =]

I'm also pleased to hear of a possible next gen continuation of the series on the PS3 possibly!

This was a surprise! A pleasant one none the less. I liked Till The End OF Time on the PS2 so being able to play the original two would be awesome, I don't think they were released in Europe before so this would be a first.

It would of course mean buying a P.S.P. though.....but Dissidia's already tempting me.

Yes Now i get to play the other games in the series! I was wondering when they were going to do that since they basically remade all the FFs for te PSX and DS

SO2 wasn't released in Europe?
I assure you it's much better than SO3...and I don't say that on account of loving oldschool games. SO2 is much harder, and has a much more detailed skill system.
You can cook food, orchestrate music, write books, raise character's affection levels, use machinery and alchemy to make items.
It's great.
I'm currently at level 107 in SO2. =]

Star Ocean is actually really underrated.
Not many people know about it, but imo, it sometimes proves to be a good rival to FF. XD

Yeah, I downloaded the first one. Loved it. Loved the Second Story, and then Till the End of Time... Wow. Thats the definition of a good game.

Oops. I just realized that the link in my last post was actually not described right. It's information on a new game being made by the same team who designed the SO series; Square Enix and Tri Ace.

Apparently all that was released in regards to SO4 was a title screen...that I've yet to find.

I wish I had the first one. What's it like? XD
