Spell Problem

I keep trying to teach my summon certain spells she does not yet have, she has more then enough Arcane Points, but when ever I try to buy it, I get this...

An error has occured, the following message has been left below:

This spell cannot be learned by your pet.

Why not?

That has to do with Adamant not wanting are summons to become to powerful and only a spell user which is all they really cna be since only good attack types for summon aren't usuable till later on.

Great, so I'm going to need to train my main guy even more for the Arcane points?

Some spells can only be used by the person, and the same goes for summons. This was done to help balance the game and try to get people to not rely so much on their character being good at just one thing.

Damn, I was aiming to make my summon the main magic caster, as I haven't been giving my main guy much Arcane Points.

yes this gets very annoying later on when you want to teach your summon curaga but he/she cant cause you are only allowed to use cura

Hmm, not allowing summons to use curaga is kinda rediculous. Maybe that spell should be allowed for summons.

It is allowed for summons. As genius as making your summon a spellcaster sounds, every player does it, so I'm offering some options for people who want to be mages. That's also why I included Claw of the Beast to greatly improve a summon's attack.

Nope, the spell curaga says "Users". I am changing it.
